After attending college later in his life due to a troubled background, a shy student admires from afar another student who can shine bright at the center of any crowd with no effort. The admired seems to be perfect and untouched by hurt. However, a chance encounter on a rainy day reveals to the shy student that the admired has hidden pain and suffering. This revelation causes the shy student to connect with a more intimate bond with the admired as both were in a vulnerable state and reach out to each other.
